We can’t wait for Way Out Ware SynthX

At the 2011 NAMM show, Jim Heinz was prowling the show floor with his soon to be released SynthX – a polyphonic analog modeled synthesizer engine based on the KickaXe engine (same as the TmeWarp 2600) with effects too.

The SynthX interface makes elegant use of the iPad’s touch-screen, offering graphical feedback of the audible pulse-waves in real-time, as well as X- and Y-axis expressivity. The app is soon to be submitted to the Apple approval team.
